Photographer Eric Fischer uses Flickr’s geotags to create city maps that show the places of intense human interest. The geotags tell where people have taken photos in major cities of interest and Fischer’s maps map exactly that, taking into consideration the various methods of photography even! Fascinating!
Color code in some maps:
Black is walking (less than 7mph), Red is bicycling or equivalent speed (less than 19mph), Blue is motor vehicles on normal roads (less than 43mph); Green is freeways or rapid transit.
